Arsenic In Rice Hits The News: Trace Elements Matter

Fresh, Big News: Dangerous Arsenic found in rice: Arsenic hits National Public Radio this week. Old News: We measure arsenic at CorePsych with Trace Elements Inc, [the company we use to measure multiple trace element levels], including Arsenic, – and it's been on the Arsenic trail for 28 years. Not only do trace elements matter – they provide quite easily measurable and correctable results with significant clinical applications. Data matters.

Arsenic Problems

We measure all of the significant trace elements , 30 Trace Elements, 8 Toxic Elements [Arsenic high on this sample >], and most importantly, review on the following page, Significant and Toxic Ratios: Test Sample Here [I haven't been paid for this posting, I simply find they do exemplary work, and their results have helped innumerable clients since our first testings].

TMA – Tissue Mineral Analysis

Those of you who know me already know that I will chase down any answer that proves useful to patients, not matter what the doctrinaire belief system. That's why I partnered with Daniel Amen to use SPECT brain imaging for 4 years, that's why I've been working with NeuroScience for more than 4 years [measuring neurotransmitters, hormones and IgG], and that's why I'm telling you readers about these useful Trace Elements laboratory assessments at CorePsych Blog, on YouTube, on Straight Talk Radio and at CoreBrain. [More vids on YouTube this weekend.]

New investigations may at first sound “flaky,” they may sound “alternative,” but how they sound politically is not the deal. Doctrinaire belief systems often don't match available science. How data works for patients is the deal. Useful, comprehensive new technology and associated laboratory biomedical data is the new psych-office science.

TMA, as I've mentioned elsewhere, is Tissue Mineral Analysis with hair. Take a look at these hair assessment references for further information. Sounds quite edgy, but the good news: when you understand it, you can use it.

More coming on Fridays on specific trace element case results – here with ADHD Insights on Toxic Elements.

To see the connection between brain science and common sense: evidence matters.

    Dr. Parker,
Thank you so much for your awesome website, knowledge, and book; looking forward to the new one.

I had a hair test for copper, arsenic, lead, mercury, cadmium, and chromium. I tested positive for all, as expected, but my arsenic level was 25% higher (99 ug/kg) than the max cut-off I have been having a lot of neurological/emotional/GI issues before the tests, which happened in the last month or so, could this be the cause.
I take 70mg Vyvanse, 50 zoloft, and 1mg kpin at night.
    THANKS!!
